The Notorious BIG passed away on March 9, 1997. The legendary US rapper's fans took to social media to remember him on his death anniversary.
Biggie was fatally shot in Los Angeles California. He was one of the greatest rappers at the time of his shooting. The superstar was signed to Diddy's Bad Boy record label.
BIG's fans from across the globe took to Twitter to share their tributes and fond memories of the late musician. Even though he died 24 years ago, some of his songs are still on high rotation on radio in some parts of the world and the US.

In other entertainment news, Legit.ng reported that Cardi B has become the first female rapper to get a diamond single award. Her 2017 hit Bodak Yellow has been certified diamond after it went 10-times platinum and sold 10 million units.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) took to Twitter on Tuesday, March 9, to congratulate the WAP hitmaker. The RIAA wrote:
