Reality television star Kim Kardashian has just opened up about how she was body-shamed during her first pregnancy.

Taking to social media recently, Kim posted about what she experienced when she gained 27 kilograms while she was pregnant with North West.

In her Instagram Stories, Kim recalled how some people compared her to a whale while she was expecting her baby. She also remembered how her body was compared to Prince William's wife, Kate, who had a much smaller frame during her pregnancy.

Kim said that she cried every single day because of the pressure from the media to look perfect even while she was pregnant.

“I was shamed on a weekly basis with cover stories that made my insecurities so painful I couldn't leave the house for months after. It really broke me,” said Kim.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also spoke about Britney Spears' mental health breakdown back in 2007. Kim said that nobody deserved to go through such a painful time just to keep people entertained.

The former couple is currently in contact regarding the joint custody of their four children. The source says that the divorce has been hard on Kanye but knowing that he can still see his kids makes him feel a little better.
