Daredevil bandits attack federal airport quarters, abduct staff and their families in Kaduna

Unknown gunmen have reportedly attacked the staff quarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) at the Kaduna Airport.
Vanguard reports that the criminals who struck in the wee hours of Saturday, March 6, whisked away some staff members and their families.
According to locals near the airport, the gunmen were wielding dangerous weapons
A local described the situation as bad and called for prayers from all Nigerians for their safety. There was no reaction from the authorities at the time of filing this report.
TVC News reports that about nine persons, including a family of six, a housewife and her two children, were abducted by the gunmen.
The bandits were reported to have gained access to the quarters through the airport runway at about 12.30 am.
Sources claimed the attack lasted for hours as military personnel engaged the bandits.
Sadly, the attackers still had their way and went away on motorcycles with their abductees.
A man with the Twitter handle @moosaisahh claimed his sister was one of those abducted from the staff quarters. He asked Nigerians to pray for their safe return.

Nigerian Tribune reports that FAAN spokesperson, Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu confirmed the attack. She, however, the airport was not affected by the attack.
According to her, a staff of FAAN, NiMET and NAMA with their entire families were taken away by the armed men.
