Basketball legend's debut in professional wrestling ends in disaster as he lands in hospital

Former LA Lkers star Shaquille O’Neal was put through a table and taken to the hospital on his professional debut with All Elite Wrestling promotion.
The 48-year-old was involved in a mixed tag-team match with Jade Cargill against Cody Rhodes and Red Sky.
The four-time NBA Champion went through a wooden table after Rhodes flew across him and the 7ft1in star was carried on a strectcher and taken to the hospital.

O'Neal's partner Cargill was left stunned with the incident as she had her hands in her head. Cody managed to get up but Shaq had to be attended to by the medics.
WWE legend Mick Foley tweeted and parised O'Neal after the incident:
“HUGE props to @SHAQ for taking that bump!”
Shaq had a good build up to the fight as he said:
“I have nothing to prove but little cupcake Cody challenged me.
“It was my fault, I was being interviewed by his lovely wife and I mentioned Jade because she’s a new upcoming superstar.
“I guess she got mad and threw water on me and I guess a man is supposed to protect his wife but I thought it was over but you challenged me at my job on TNT so I’ll be there on March 3rd, don’t worry about it.
“There’s probably a lot of guys who have the ability but listen I’m not coming to wrestle, I’m coming to fight.
"I’m gonna show you what power looks like in AEW.”
