Popular Nigerian actress and wife to Iroko TV boss, Mary Remmy Njoku, has taken to social media to defend her husband after he was criticised.
Jason was called out by some Nigerians for paying his staff who are graduates, a meagre sum of money in comparison to what he is able to pay for his children’s school fees.
According to Mary in an Instagram post, people needed to stop quoting educational qualification and start working on what they could contribute to their employers.
She added that if a person provided N2 million service to their boss, then they would be paid accordingly. Mary said a person who added only N10k value to his or her employer would also be paid the same way.

The film star said that it didn’t matter if the staff graduated with a first-class while adding that they should ask themselves how important their work was to the growth of the company.
In her caption she wrote:
“I am a graduate! I studied biochemistry. I am a graduate, with 1st class medicine. I am a graduate with Bala bla bla....
"In my world, being a graduate just means you can read and write. So can SSCE holders. I am more interested in what VALUE you can provide.
"Education is an acquisition of skill, NOT certificate.”

Legit.ng had earlier reported that the actress' husband, Jason Njoku, spoke on social media about how N5 million as school fees is cheap.
Jason is of the opinion that even though most Nigerians do not realise it, most things in the country are cheap, by African standard.
This was part of his reply to a tweet by @ugodre, who posted the bill for one of the top schools in Lagos with a total of almost five million naira.
