Nigerian footballer Obafemi Martins has called for calm amid the ongoing drama involving music star Burna Boy and rapper CDQ.
Days ago, CDQ had called out Burna on social media for allegedly disrespecting the footballer at a club in Lagos and demanded an apology from him.
However, a new post shared on the footballer’s Instagram page suggests that all is well and the matter has been put behind them.
Martins described stories that have been making the rounds as allegations and noted his reservation against their names being tarnished.
According to him, there was indeed a misunderstanding between them but it was eventually resolved.
"We had some misunderstanding some nights ago but this issue don resolve."
The footballer went on to add that there was no fight at the club as the chill spot was not opened.
He said he only summoned the music stars to the venue to settle their differences.
Martins disclosed that he is a major shareholder at the establishment and pleaded with members of the public not to ruin his business.
He called on people to move on from the episode as it is normal for brothers to occasionally have heated exchanges.
"There is always fight and love amongst brothers. You guys are making too much hype, you should forget it and carry on."
