Revered actor Tom Cruise has become a TikTok sensation thanks to his lookalike who has been creating deepfake videos of him.
Bobrisky says as he shows off dollar bills says, 'If you want to be a runs girl, be an expensive one'
The Tom Cruise lookalike, otherwise known as the doppelganger @deeptomcruise, has been posting deepfake videos of the actor doing crazy things like testing his golf skills and performing magic tricks with coins for the camera.
The deepfake videos seem so real that one might be fooled and convinced by the encapsulating Tom Cruise looks and witty personality.
Legit.ng went through the videos on Snapchat and discovered that indeed the deepfake technology has come in the span of a few short years.
The videos of Tom are not really his but his doppelganger's who got netizens to think that the technology could be very beneficial for malevolent purposes.
This was recently confirmed by photographer Lauren White who through one of his deepfake videos on TikTok confirmed the technology was the new thing, most content creators should consider embracing.
"Deep fakes are getting scary good and taking over TikTok. Every public figure should just be on there with a verified account - even if they don't want to make content - to make it easier to identify their fakes," White said.

Deepfake parody videos are not new since they have been popping off YouTube over the past few years.
Legit.ng understands that most of the deepfake videos can be used to give viewers a look at how certain movies might have looked with other actors in the lead roles.
A popular example of the aforementioned is the recast of Back to the Future with Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. who played the roles of Marty and Doc.
The intriguing concept actually managed to hook a lot of Marvel fans.
Another video recast was that of Jack Nicholson with Jim Carrey in The Shining to showcase which was yet another alternate casting that somehow worked.
The deepfake technology has proven to be the best medicine for movie fanatics who love specific actors and actresses.
For instance, a random person actually took Home Alone and digitally inserted Sylvester Stallone's face onto Macaulay Culkin's body and retitled the classic comedy as Home Stallone.
In other news about the Home Alone star, Macaulay Culkin, Legit.ng reported that the actor was sued by a clinic for owing over N571k in medical bills.
According to a Supreme Court lawsuit, the clinic is reported to have offered medical and/or hospital service or supplies at the actor's request.
