Popular TV host and entrepreneur, Toke Makinwa, has taken to social media to talk about the days of her struggles and how she came to have the things she has now.

In a series of tweets she shared, the radio host explained why trusting God and leaving him to perform his wonders is the best thing to do.

Toke continued by saying that she prayed for the kind of life she wanted 10 years ago and even though she had no idea how God would do it, he still came thorugh.

She also touched on the most painful events in her life and how she finally realised that they were preparing her for a better future.

The entrepreneur finally advised people to work hard, trust the process and leave the rest to God.

One of her tweets reads:

"When I look back to 10 years ago, I imagined a better life, a life with ease and without struggle. I prayed to God to change my life but wasn’t sure how he was going to do it, which field he will bless, which endeavor he will prosper. He sure came through. Trust him today."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Toke Makinwa, known for her controversial takes online, advised people on the need to protect their peace by not bothering with explaining themselves to others.

According to her, people who love them often don't need a reason to, and people who don't love them will never believe them.

She also urged her followers to save their peace and let anyone think whatever they like.
