There has been news of different countries around the world making plans to purchase COVID-19 vaccines for their citizens and many have wondered when Nigeria will make a move.
Just recently the government announced plans to purchase 3.92 million doses of the vaccine, but Nollywood actor, Prince Eke, thinks it is not a good idea.
Taking to the story channel of his Instagram account, the movie star asked why the government is not thinking of sharing the money to hungry people in the country instead.
He also strongly advised the government to cure hunger first.
In his words:
"Why can't the Nigerian government use the money for this 3.92 million doses of covid-19 vaccine and share to the people? Cure hunger first."
