Empower youths, Bassey James tells Akwa Ibom LG chairmen

Anieokpon Eno Ekpo, the executive chairman of Mkpat Enin local government area of Akwa Ibom state, is set to add value to the lives of his constituents.
The executive chairman who will be visiting Southern Atlantic Polytechnic on Wednesday, March 3, for a facility tour of the institution will also sign an MOU to train 100 indigene of the LGA on various vocational skills acquisition.
The founder of the school Pastor Bassey James in a press release signed by him and made available to Legit.ng also urged all the other LGA chairman to take advantage of the opportunity offered by the school to empower their youth in various LGA.
He urged all indigenes of Mkpat local government area to take advantage of the skill acquisition program.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that James explained why he established the Association of Private Polytechnic Founders and Rectors(APFRN) in Nigeria.
James, who is the president of the association said he mobilised some founders and rectors of private polytechnics to form the APFRN to foster and protect the academic interest of polytechnic education, particularly private polytechnics.
He said:
''I mobilized some founders and rectors of private polytechnics to bring the unity, and establish a structure for founders and rectors of private polytechnics to foster the interest and smooth running of private polytechnics in the country."
