Even in his death, fallen Hollywood star Chadwick Boseman continues to reign supreme. The late actor won the Golden Globe award in the Best Actor (Drama) category.

He was hailed for his role in Netflix film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom which was aired following his demise.

His wife Taylor Simone Ledward received Chadwick’s trophy on his behalf and broke into tears as she delivered a powerful speech.

At first, the strong-willed widow tried to power through the moment without shedding any tear or speaking with a shaky voice.

But it was too much, the emotions engulfed her and all she could do was honour the man she loved with the sweetest words she could think of.

“He would thank God and his parents, he would say something beautiful, something amazing, something that would amplify that little voice that tells you, you can, that tells you to keep going,” Taylor said.

She then urged everyone to celebrate and cherish the people they love.

As earlier reported by Legit.ng, after acing his role as T'Challah on Black Panther, Chadwick Boseman featured in another movie.

He starred alongside Hollywood queen Viola Davis in a film dubbed Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Netflix released short footage lifted from the movie which showed Chadwick doing what he did best.

The clip stirred a lot of emotion and brought back memories of the celebrated star.
