Talented British-Nigerian actor, O-T Fagbenle, is all shades of grateful after he landed a major role in an upcoming Showtime anthology series.

The 41-year-old has been added to the cast ensemble of 'The First Lady', landing the coveted part of former President Barack Obama alongside Viola Davis, who will portray Michelle Obama.

An excited Fagbenle took to his Instagram page to share the good news with his followers.

He wrote:

"Not sure what’s more of an honour, playing @barackobama doing a TV show honouring @michelleobama or getting to work with the inspirational @violadavis . Suffice to say I’m giving thanks."

Fagbenle's role as the 44th president in a Showtime series makes him the second after Kingsley Ben-Adir, who played Obama in 2020’s The Comey Rule.

In other news, American actress Kristen Stewart got cast as Princess Diana in the movie Spencer and received a mixed reaction from fans. Some fans felt that Kristen might not have the range to play such a complex character but she's stepped up to the challenge.
