This was after she had asked the president to unfollow her citing she needed to flourish and the only way it would happen is if the account stopped following her.
In a tweet, Teigen said she had tweeted a "handful of times" since the @POTUS account followed her and this was minimising her control.
So, for her to be herself, she did not want to be followed by arguably the most powerful account on Twitter, maybe feeling she would let the president down.
Like a breakup, Teigen noted that she, and not Biden, was the problem.

Guess what? Hours later, Biden obliged.
Immediately, Teigen celebrated her freedom with a tweet that was full of curse words, showing how much she missed being herself.
Funny thing is, just a month ago, Teigen was over the moon after she became the only tweep not affiliated with the White House to be followed by @POTUS.
The model had previously been blocked by the account while Trump was in office and remained one of his most outspoken critics, especially on Twitter.
With the Biden administration having been sworn in, Chrissy took the chance to jokingly request to be followed by the new president after having been blocked for four years.
To everyone's surprise, including Teigen's, the official account followed her and she became the only profile that @POTUS followed that did not belong to a political figure or office.
