Three Italian clubs namely Juventus, Inter Milan and Roma are reportedly interested in the signing of Manchester United forward Juan Mata whose future at Old Trafford is gradually coming to an end.
Juan Mata's current contract with Manchester United will be expiring at the end of the ongoing Premier League season and the club's chiefs have not discussed another deal with him.
The Red Devils have an option to give Juan Mata 12-month extension on his current deal, but lack of active games so far may deny the Spaniard such chance.
So far this year, the former Chelsea star has played only eight games for Manchester United in all competitions as the Red Devils sit second on the Premier League table.

According to the report on UK Sun, Juan Mata is said to be happy at Manchester United, but wants to play more games for the Old Trafford giants this season.
The report added that Inter Milan are trying to use the duo of Ashley Young and Romelu Lukaku to convince Juan Mata to make a move to the Serie A.
Italian champions Juventus and Roma on the other hand are waiting for his contract to expire at Manchester United before making their moves.
Mata has been playing for Manchester United since 2014 after joining from Chelsea, and the 32-year-old has won the FA Cup, EFL and the Europa League title with the Red Devils.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Inter Milan opened a four-point gap on the Italian League table following their 3-0 triumph over city rivals AC Milan in their derby over the weekend.
Two goals from Lautaro Martinez and one from Romelu Lukaku ensured Antonio Conte's men run off with maximum points at the end of the game.
The victory however puts the Nerazzurri in control of the title chase - although anything can still happen with 15 more games to play this term.
Meanwhile, the Belgian appeared to have aimed a dig at legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic after scoring in the game as they both contend for the title of 'god of Milan'.
