Nigerian singer Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa, professionally known as Joeboy, is no doubt one of Nigeria's fast-rising talents. However, his music is not all there is to him as he recently opened up about his love life.

Joeboy who released his debut album, had an interview with The Beat FM where he talked about having a lot of female friends around him. Although he stated he was in no relationship, there was more.

According to the singer who said he wasn't searching, he is a sugar boy, admitting to having someone who called him for hookups and even putting it on one of his songs.

"I cannot say her name but honestly, I am a sugar baby. Yes, I have a sugar mama."

Joeboy who revealed that she was the one who met him described their 'arrangement as being 'fun and free'.

The video which has since gone viral has sparked mixed reactions from social media users. Many people pointed out the double standard in society as they opined that a woman would have received heavy backlash if she publicly admitted to having a sugar daddy.
