After months of anticipation, the 14th edition of the popular Headies Award held in Lagos on Sunday, February 21, and one musician who surprised everyone with his presence was Wizkid.
The singer has been known to snub the event for years even in cases where he was nominated and eventually won an award or two.
In 2019, the Ojuelegba crooner had most colleagues in the industry attending his show at the O2 Arena on the same night the Headies award was going on.
In a video posted by Queenofgist on Instagram, the father of three was spotted with colleague and industry legend, 2face Idibia.
Wizkid rose all the way from his seat to greet his colleague who sat on another row in the hall.
The Ginger crooner did not only give 2baba a handshake but also proceeded to prostrate as a sign of respect.
He also exchanged greetings with someone seated beside the singer, presumably, his wife, Annie.

2baba pulled him closer and they quickly exchanged words before Wizkid went back to his front-row seat.
