Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, was recently under heavy criticism over her choice of outfit during her visit to Yahaya Bello, the governor of Kogi state.
The actress had earlier taken to her Instagram page to share photos of herself exchanging a handshake with the governor.
“HIS EXCELLENCY…YAHAYA ADOZA BELLO, God bless you more for the warm reception.," she wrote.

However, the photos were welcomed with mixed reactions from several social media users. While many condemned her choice of outfit and accused her of having ulterior motives with the governor, others didn't seem to see anything wrong with it.

@Daniel_Regha:
“So, Destiny Etiko the actress couldn’t dress decently when visiting Yahaya Bello? This is discouraging. What was the purpose of the visit in the first place? People especially celebrities should normalise promoting good morals so people who look up to them can emulate such morals.”
@Alfred_uvoh:
“No wonder they are always buying and buying and buying and the male actors just dey look like dundee.”
@GeeKinqest__:
“What’s wrong with Destiny Etiko’s dress? Were you expecting to see her in Skirt and Blouse because she went to see the Governor. Biko, save us these moral talks here and there.”
@Cassie_Chidiago:
“What sort of dressing is this, very inappropriate.”
@OfficialOmojay:
“Just forget the visiting first, still forget her wrong choice of outfit to Governor’s house. Destiny dress sense na zero over zero.”

A brief look through her Instagram profile shows that the Nollywood actress who had initially turn off comments on the post, has since taken it down entirely.
This comes barely a few weeks after she was enmeshed in a controversy following the announcement of her new car which appeared to have caused more damage to her reputation than good.
Shortly after she took to her Instagram page to show off her new ride and reacted to the amusement of people who whispered about a man being the sponsor, a popular blogger @gistloverupdate put a face to the alleged sponsor.
The post which had since gone viral, had the actress really worked out, so much that she did a video disputing the allegations against her.
