A follower who seemed to disagree with the rapper responded to his tweet saying:

"A lot of people nowadays give little importance to education, they believe making money is more important than getting educated but that's wrong. Education is will take u places wealth can't take u, knowledge is power. A knowledgeable person is better than a rich! illiterate."

Also taking up the rapper’s position, another follower wrote:

"Brother @Zlatan_Ibile with all modesty education is basically to get u civilized and equipped not necessarily to get u a job or bag you with money, but if you are lucky to get a good job after school still kudos, pls stop misleading ppl that skul is for money or necessarily 4 job."

Another follower cautioned the rapper against discouraging young people to get an education. He wrote:

Some months ago, Legit.ng reported that the rapper revealed that he once worked as a bricklayer and cut grass for people before fame.

Zlatan stated that things got easier when he got admitted into the university. The rap star also said he intends to embezzle money if he ever becomes the president of Nigeria.
