Nigerian singer Davido is definitely still reaping the benefits of hard work he put into recording his 2019 hit single, If.
Years after the release of the single which smashed several music charts, it has now been certified gold in the United States.
This means that the record has successfully sold 500,000 copies in the US.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first song by the singer to go gold in the US. About eight months ago, the singer's 2017 singer, Fall, also got a gold certification in the US.
Sharing the news on his Twitter page, the singer wrote:
"I predicted this couple days ago ! !! Fall is now certified gold in the ‘USA !!!!! They laughed at me but I did it first !!"
Meanwhile, some social media users and industry friends have joined the singer in celebrating the recent feat.
