Nigerian movie star, Mike Godson, was recently in Cameroon and from indications, he had a completely different experience from rapper Naira Marley who was also in the country for a public event.
The Nollywood film star took to his page on Instagram with a post appreciating Cameroonians for the love shown to him while in their country.
Godson in his post also disclosed that a young man in the country gave him a lovely artwork.
He wrote:
"Got so much love in Cameroon, a young man presented this gift to me during my speech at the event. A big thank you to all my fans in Cameroon, I felt loved during my stay. God bless everyone of you."

Godson’s post comes amid mixed reactions following the treatment that was meted out on Naira Marley whose planned Valentine’s Day show was cancelled.
However, the rapper took to his page on Twitter and called on Nigerians to stop the backlash against Cameroonians. According to him, there are good and caring people in the country save for a few others.
Similarly, Legit.ng reported that a Cameroonian citizen, Chi_Cherito, called out artistes in his country that played a role in Naira Marley’s cancelled concert. He trumped arguments that the Nigerian rapper is a bad influence on youths in Cameroon
Chi_Cherito also noted that if the artistes do not change their ways, there would be no growth in their music industry.
