American singer Janet Jackson thanks fans after Control album tops charts 35 years later

US singer Janet Jackson paved the way for herself as a performer and surely it couldn't have been easy being Michael Jackson's sister. Her Control album topped the US pop charts and the wild thing is that it was released in 1986.
Janet thanked her fans for the support and said they are very special to her. She posted an Instagram video showing just how much gratitude she has.
"I was crying because I was so thankful for all that God has blessed me with, all that he has given me and I am so thankful for all of you being in my life. You’re so special to me," said Janet.
The star didn't think that her album would be topping the charts even 35 years after its release.

The actor and musician took Instagram to issue an apology for his actions in the past which affected both Britney and Janet.
Timberlake, 40, wrote on Instagram:
“I specifically want to apologise to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed."
Almost 20 years ago he had given an interview which featured in a documentary about Spears in which he spoke about their sex life while both of them were at the height of their careers.
