Young man receives award from President Buhari, gets automatic employment, scholarship, photos stirs reactions

A young man has finished the compulsory one year youth service on a very high note.
The Nigerian man identified as Daniel took to Facebook in joyous mood to announce that he received the prestigious President’s NYSC Honours Award.

In a post he made on Thursday, February 11, the excited Daniel shared photos of himself as he struck a pose with the award and another displaying the award and certified that came with it.
Daniel, Legit.ng learnt, was one of the 110 young Nigerians that received the President’s NYSC Honours Award for 2018/2019 service year in a ceremony that held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
Daniel - who served at Taraba state where he emerged the best at the state awards - stated that he was only motivated to serve well due to his passion for touching and affecting lives of people from underprivileged homes.
He wrote:
"God is faithful! Today I bag the prestigious Presidential NYSC Honours Award given by His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR whose ceremony was at Banquet hall at the Presidential Villa.
"I'm most grateful to God, the Presidency, my family, and Taraba State where I emerged the best at the State Awards.
"All we wanted to do was to affect the lives of people that were not as privileged as we were and that's also what scripture instructs us to do.
"This by God, is simply a platform for bigger things.
"More impacts to our dear nation Nigeria, more impacts to the world.
"We are here, and so Nigeria won't crumble!
"We move!!!"
As a recipient of the President's award, Daniel bagged automatic employment into the Federal Civil Service, Federal scholarship for post-graduate studies up to doctoral-level into any Nigerian university and an undisclosed cash reward.
