Heavy criticism is not new to billionaire daughter and entertainer, DJ Cuppy Otedola, and the latest to take a swipe at her is singer Kelly Hansome.
The music star recently took to his page on Instagram to call out the celebrity DJ and criticize her music.
Hansome particularly made reference to a video of Cuppy’s Gelato performance at her Gold Dust live event.
In his post, the singer made fun of Cuppy’s Gelato song with indigenous rapper, Zlatan Ibile, noting that it is “an insult to music as a career and an embarrassment to NAIJA Music.”
Hansome said the DJ’s performance is like mocking real musicians and posed a question as to how the music industry got to its current status.
The singer also suggested that he could have written a proper song for Cuppy if he was approached.
Concluding his post, Hansome asked if anyone would have listened to the celebrity DJ if she wasn’t the daughter of Femi Otedola.

"You shouldn’t be talking! Look at your career. You should put all this energy on becoming a better musician. This is the problem with you Nigerians, always looking for a way to bring each other down."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that DJ Cuppy issued a strong warning to people who might be mixing things up about her in a post shared on her Instagram page.
The billionaire daughter made it clear that her kindness should not be mistaken for weakness. Her father, Femi Otedola, also stamped her statement in the comment section.
