Liverpool and Scotland defender Andrew Robertson may have taken off football rivalry to Manchester United legend, Sir Alex Ferguson, after moving to his neighbourhood.

The 26-year-old recently splashed a staggering £3.3 million to buy a new mansion not far from the legendary manager.

It is not news that both clubs are bitter rivals, however, both of them can find a common ground based on their nationality and share opinions about the Premier League and other issues in general.

Robertson is not the only Reds player who now lives close to Ferguson in the leafy Wilmslow road area as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and his partner, Perrie Edwards, have moved there too.

The former Arsenal attacker spent about £3.8 million to buy his new exquisite mansion in the summer of 2020 along with his pop star spouse.

They flaunted their new acquisition on Instagram and they enjoyed lockdown in the building by treating their followers to fun dance moves on their swish marble stairs.

Meanwhile, Ferguson who won 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League for Man United was described by a source according to SunSport saying:

“Sir Alex is a big fan of football as everyone knows, but no one is sure what he makes of Little Mix’s music.”

In 2012 Sir Alex admitted he had an iPod which was full of hits from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and Willie Nelson.

It is however left to be seen if Robertson's music will fit in on the plush road in Cheshire.

Roberton's career has really taken off since he made a bargain of £10 million move from Hull to Liverpool in 2017.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool are looking to launch a bid for impressive Leeds forward Raphinha this summer in a bid to bolster their attack in the coming season.

Jorgen Klopp has made the player a transfer target hoping he would help reduce the attacking burden on Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

The reigning Premier League champions have been very poor in their recent games as they lack the attacking in-depth which consequently led to back-to-back defeats.
