Bad Bunny studied at the University of Puerto Rico, while still working as a bagger in a supermarket. In 2016, he released a song called Diles on SoundCloud, an online audio platform.

The song was noticed by DJ Lucian, a music producer who signed him to a record label called Hear this Music.

This was followed by several hits and collaborations with famous artists such as J Balvin, Cardi B, Prince Royce, and Ozuna.

He gained even more fame by collaborating with Drake and Cardi B on tracks like I Like It and Mia., in which he rapped in Spanglish, Spanish and English.

He then left Hear this Music and was signed to Rimas Entertainment, then he released his first studio album.

Bad Bunny then released Oasis, a collaborative album with J Balvin, in the year 2019.

In 2020, he released his second solo album, YHLQMDLG and later that year released his third album El Último Tour Del Mundo.
