Didi Ekanem recounts abandoning her car at police station after hitting road user, thanks God for his life

Actress Didi Ekanem has taken her fans and followers on social media on a trip down memory lane.
The actress in a lengthy Instagram post narrated what had played out in her life around this same time in 2020.
Ekanem recounted how she said her prayers on that fateful day before stepping out of the house to the market. According to her, she was involved in a road accident because she had a brake failure.
"So on my way to the market, my brake failed completely and there was traffic on the road, and right in front of me was a school bus filled with children. I started screaming and suddenly, my car diverted and then hit the bridge pole like 3 times."
However, even though Ekanem managed to leave the car unhurt, there was a casualty involved in the ugly accident. The actress said the young man was hit while trying to escape her car.
Ekanem said she thought the young man was going to die but God came through for her. However, he had to be hospitalised for a few days.
The Nollywood star said she has not gone to retrieve her car from the police station after the incidence.
"Till now, I haven’t gone to the police station to retrieve my car cos of the trauma. Every time I pass that road to the market, the fear that grips me. But in all, I give God all the glory."
