In a previous report by Legit.ng, the lawsuit against the senior pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Sam Adeyemi, and 49 others as alleged promoters of the #EndSARS protests was kicked against.
The Conference of Igbo Youth Professionals Worldwide distanced itself from Kenechukwu Okeke who filed the suit.
A statement by the president general of the organisation, Maduabuchi Nwodo, made it clear that Okeke is not a member of the body neither did the suit represent the stance of the southeast geopolitical region.
