Somori: Police give details of how notorious cult leader terrorising Ogun communities was killed

It was an end of the road for Owolabi Oludipe after the notorious Aiye cult gang leader popularly known as Somori was killed by the operatives of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
According to PM News, Somori met his waterloo on Sunday, January 31, after security operatives and his men engaged in a gun duel in Odogbolu community of Ogun state.
Shedding light on the incident surrounding the notorious cult leader's death, Ogun police command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated that he was killed after the police were alerted by panicking residents.
Oyeyemi said the security operative swung into action, resulting in a gun battle which led to the death of the deceased.
He further added that Somori has been on the watchlist of the police since November 2020 when he and his gang killed two members of the rival cult, Segun Runsewe and Kayode Adegbuyi.
According to him, both Runsewe and Adegbuyi were killed by Somori-led cult ganag during a supremacy battle.
Items recovered from him are assorted charms which he wore all over his body, two live cartridges and a mobile phone.
Nasiru Kachalla killed in Kaduna
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the fight against insecurity recorded a huge victory as Nasiru Kachalla, a notorious bandit terrorising various communities, was killed in Kaduna forest.

This was contained in a statement on Monday, December 28, 2020, by the Kaduna commissioner for internal security and homeland affairs, Samuel Aruwan.
Kachalla, who was said to have masterminded several criminal acts, met his waterloo and was killed in a clash between his gang and a rival group of bandits.
According to the commissioner who confirmed Kachalla's death following "human intelligence", the notorious crime lord was killed alongside his top lieutenants.
