Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, Lagos chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) popularly known as MC Oluomo, has finally broken silence on his book.
Speaking with The Punch on Tuesday, February 2, the Lagos NURTW boss and socialite confirmed it is true he will publish his biography titled "My Service to Humanity" which will be released in March 2021.
It would be recalled that social media was agog with a myriad of reactions over the popular commercial bus drivers' boss book, with "MC Oluomo" peaking at number one on Twitter.
MC Oluomo, who spoke via his spokesman, Jimoh Buhari, however, said the book is just about his life and contribution to humanity, not about 2023 politics.
He further maintained that at the moment, he has no eye for any political office in Lagos state or anywhere else in the country.
“The book is just about MC Oluomo’s experiences, his history and his life story. There are many misconceptions about him and the book gives him the opportunity of clearing the air on many issues.
“It is certainly not about 2023 politics. There have been rumours about his intention to contest but right now, he has no such ambition.”
Oluomo's daughter bags degree in nursing
Meanwhile, Nofisat Ayinke, the daughter of MC Oluomo, bagged a degree in nursing from a school in the United States.
The proud dad took to social media to celebrate Nofisat, saying that the young lady secured a job even before her graduation.
MC Oluomo noted that he is proud of his daughter's achievement and prayed that she continues to excel. He also took to his Instagram page to shower praises on Nofisat and noted that the young lady has secured a job already.
"I’m so proud of you. You’ll continue to accomplish many more success. Allah has provided my beautiful daughter with a job even before graduation. May Almighty Allah continue to path her way."
