Olivia Afi Kokui, a resident of Akotoshi in the Greater Accra Region, is an innovative and adventurous businesswoman who runs her own block manufacturing company.

After years of navigating life's challenges, Kokui has added to her name Francentia Enterprise with a presence in Dome Faase in the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

Kokui did not set out to be an entrepreneur, as her childhood dream of becoming a nurse suffered a financial setback.

Despite the impediment, the resilient SHS graduate started petty trading to pursue a course at IPMC IT Training Centre.

She landed her first job working as a secretary with a waste management company in Osu after the course at IPMC but had to quit because the amount she spent on transportation exceeded her remuneration.

With that experience in her back pocket, she relocated to Sapeman in Accra and secured her second job at a sand winning site but had to quit because the business ran out of sand.

This major drawback stirred up her resolve to start her block manufacturing company with nothing but just the idea.

She told Dee Lovia of GTV in an interview:

"I started with no money. You'll not believe it."

Determined to make it, she managed to purchase a block moulding machine on credit after a client recommended a friend who sells the machines.
