Akwa Ibom corps member creates walkway for easy access to stream

- Ugwu Kenneth Chinonso constructed a stair-walkway for a village in Akwa Ibom

- Photos from the commissioning of the project has been shared to Facebook by NsiDavid Nsi

- The project was done to make it easier for the villagers of Ibiaku Ikot Oku to access the stream

For the villagers of Ibiaku Ikot Oku, corps member Ugwu Kenneth Chinonso is someone they will most certainly not forget in a hurry.

The young man lifted a burden for the villagers after he commissioned a stair-walkway leading to the stream in the village, making access easy for the people.

Facebook user, NsiDavid Nsi shared photos from the ceremony which was attended by other corps members and supposed officials of the state.

Nsi accompanied the photos with an appreciative message to Ugwu.

He wrote:

"I want to take this time to let you know what an excellent job you did to alleviate the pains and stress the people of Ibiaku Ikot Oku go through when ever they go to fetch water in the stream. I know that you put in a tremendous number of hours and resources during the research, I can't thank you enough and I pray may God bless you and increase you to greater heights. What you did will remain in the hearts of Ibiaku Ikot Oku people and your name has been writing in rock."
