Tragedy as engineering graduate drowns in a river 3 months after completing NYSC

A Mechanical Engineering graduate identified as Friday Abiligo Orhomre has drowned in a river three months after serving his fatherland through the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The young man, who graduated from Delta State Polytechnic (Delta Poly), was travelling in a speedboat with his mother and siblings when their boat capsized.
Legit.ng gathers that the unfortunate incident happened in Ughoton River, Okpe local government area of Delta state.
Sharing the sad news on Facebook, a user identified as Ugborotu Mark expressed shock over Friday's demise.

Ugborotu noted that the people of Ughoton and Nigeria have lost one of the great leaders of tomorrow to the cold hands of death.
Reacting to the tragedy, a Facebook user named Dickson Joshua wrote:

In a previous report by Legit.ng, a young medical doctor identified as ThankGod Odo drowned in a hotel swimming pool a day to the end of his housemanship.
The deceased's friend identified as Peter shared photos of the deceased on his page and expressed sadness over the death of the young man.
Peter described his friend as a man who was dedicated to all he ventured into.
ThankGod who was said to have gone to relax in a popular hotel in Ebonyi on Thursday, December 10, 2020, drowned while trying to teach his friends how to swim.
