Cristiano Ronaldo is in hot water for breaking COVID-19 rules to give his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez a birthday treat for her 27th birthday, Daily Mail.

The Juventus striker took his partner on a trip to a luxury ski resort of Courmayer, 93 miles away from Turin.

Reports from Italy claim the two love birds lodged in a hotel that was supposed to be closed due to the pandemic and took selfies while on a snowmobile.

And the Italian government have stated that travelling between cities is banned as Ronaldo and Rodriguez crossed borders between Piedmont and Valle D’Aosta for the two-day trip.

It is understood the pair spent two days at the same resort Rodriguez spent her birthday last year at the Val Veny area.

A video showing the couple in the resort on social media was taken down immediately and the government are yet to comment on the issue.

Ronaldo was not listed in Juventus 4-0 win over SPAL in the Coppa Italia as Alvaro Morata, Gianluca Frabotta, Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa all got on the scoresheet.
