Nigerian singer Peter Okoye aka Mr P may be an Igbo man but this has not stopped him from picking up and mastering other languages.
Just recently, the music star left his fans in the online community completely surprised after sharing a video in which he fluently conversed in Hausa.
Mr P who also runs a sports betting business had called one of the participants to inform him that he had won a sum of N200k.
After a brief introduction in English, Mr P switched to Hausa language after learning that the caller hails from the northern part of the country.
The two went on for some time before the singer offered to transfer the call to instant messaging platform, Whatsapp.
Sharing the video on his page, Mr P said speaking in the language made the winner even more excited.

The singer’s mastery of the language owes to the fact that he grew up in Jos, Plateau state.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Mr P acknowledged an apology issued to him by retired footballer Odemwingie.
The ex-footballer shared a video on his IG page addressing the issue of betting and how he never meant to offend the singer with an initial post.
Reacting, Peter also apologised to Odemwingie for calling him out on social media.
