Oby Ezekwesili has expressed disgust towards the current government, with the former minister of education saying she "detests everything" in the "leadership style" of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking via a lengthy Twitter rant on Monday, January 25, the former minister, who also doubles as critic-activist, said contrary to what people are made to believe, she does not hate the president.

Ezekwesili said Buhari is running the country with "detestable leadership" and her criticism of the president's government has made it look like she is “bitter towards him” and “hate him so much.”

The former minister noted that under Buhari's government, the country is "most dangerously sitting on a tinderbox."

She further described as "condemnable" the way at which the management of Nigeria as a multiethnic country is being carried out, adding that there is lack of a minutest modicum of “The-Leader -as-Unifier” in his leadership style.

"It is a detestable leadership. The country Nigeria is most dangerously sitting on a tinderbox at this time because Buhari lacks the minutest modicum of “The-Leader -as-Unifier” in his leadership style.
"We all should condemn his proclivity for fanning the embers of ethnic conflicts. What is going on in the country under the watch of the president who blatantly and irresponsibly uses the office of the Presidency to take sides in matters of Security and Lives of his citizens is abominable."

Ezekwesili also said she has no faith in the National Assembly (NASS) calling the president to order because they have proven to be sycophants.
