Surviving cancer is definitely something worth celebrating. A young South African man with the Twitter handle, @CarteroCartier recently headed to Twitter where he celebrated his victory over the deadly disease.
The young man's heartwarming post included two selfies in which he looks very enthusiastic and very optimistic about where his life can take him now that he has overcome his struggle with cancer.
He captioned the post:
"HI, MY NAME IS CARTER AND I WON A FIGHT AGAINST CANCER."
The post soon blew up, amassing over 23,000 likes. Many South Africans also headed to the comment section to share their thoughts and support. Read a few of them below:

In similar news, a young man identified on Twitter with the handle @Obi_Dadi revealed that his six-year-old son fought cancer two different times and won.
In a post sighted by Legit.ng on the social media platform, the proud father indicated that all of this happened amid the novel coronavirus pandemic that plagued the world since 2020.
To make the boy's birthday celebration a grand one, @Obi_Dadi gifted the celebrant a PS5 for fighting the deadly disease and successfully overcoming it.
