Love is indeed a beautiful thing and it gets even more endearing when couples celebrate years of being with one another in spite of all the ups and downs.
Such is the case of popular event planner, Funke Bucknor, who has taken to social media in celebration of her 14th wedding anniversary.

The businesswoman penned a touching note to her husband in which she admitted that it has truly been a challenging journey but they have managed to weather the storm.
"It’s been a journey and a half. It’s not been a perfect ride as most things in life aren’t and we’ve been tempted “ to get of the train , bus or plane “ but hey , we’re still here lolll."
Funke in a different portion of her post said they have both realized that no marriage is perfect and accepted the humbling reality that every marriage is different.
"There is no perfect marriage, as it’s two imperfect people coming together as one ..... but we’ve recognized the humbling fact that every marriage is different, different people , ideals , situations , circumstances and challenges."
Funke noted that comprising, communication, learning and unlearning among other things have made it possible for their union to grow. She also recounted how she used to nag about his love for watching and playing football, but now reminds him just to get some free time.
