A 17-year-old teenager from Edo state, Dauda Abusali, is a perfect example of what a nurtured skill can turn out to become.

Dauda said that he started drawing when he was in primary school. In his conversation with Legit.ng, he said that he used to love drawing cartoons as a child.

He said that after he wrote his junior WAEC, he was made to go to science class because of his result even though he would have loved to study the art.

He said that was the first time he would be knowing what is called hyperrealistic art. The teen said that after his encounter with Charles's work, he experimented with the same art using charcoals.

The teenager said that though he does not have sufficient funds to get materials, he always makes do with whatever he could get.

Dauda added he was able to make a Wole Soyinka drawing in three days. Dauda said he will be very grateful if he could get all the support he needs from people.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian visual artist, Patrick Chuka, showed off his latest masterpiece on Twitter, as he posed beside it.

Patrick said that the pen drawing took him arduous work of three months before he could complete it. He, therefore, pleaded with tweeps to help him retweet his work so that it can gain more visibility online.

Many admired his strong sense of determination of working on a single piece for months. Others just wondered and asked how he was able to pull such an amazing job with just a pen.
