Orlando Bloom is one proud partner and baby daddy after his bae Katy Perry performed at the Celebrating America special.

The event was held on the evening of Joe Biden's Inauguration and Perry was part of a star-studded spectacle, which included the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi and was hosted by Tom Hanks.

Katy Perry performed her song Firework while real fireworks were released in the background against the night sky of Washington DC.

Orlando Bloom recorded the moments right after Katy had finished performing and posted them online with a message about how proud he was of her and how proud he knows their daughter will be one day:

"One day our little girl will grow up and see her mother play her part in a moment in history that we hope will heal, we hope will unite, we hope, we love. One proud partner here with a tear of joy."

The British actor added that he hoped the moment would unite the country. He can be heard in the video telling his partner, "That was awesome baby!" in regards to her performance at the historic event.

The couple got engaged on Valentine's Day back in February 2019. The 36-year-old superstar welcomed her first child with the actor back in August 2020, who they named Daisy Dove Bloom.

"Welcome to the world, Daisy Dove Bloom! We are honoured to introduce Goodwill Ambassadors @KatyPerry and @OrlandoBloom’s new bundle of joy," read a post shared on Perry's IG page.

The couple said they were filled with love for welcoming a healthy baby. The two, who are UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, were grateful for their peaceful birthing experience.

They also expressed their concern for many parents across the world who are having it rough due to a shortage of medics brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
