The decision of President Joe Biden in signing 17 executive orders just after being sworn in has attracted praises from top American citizens.
One of those who are pleased with Biden's move is the former president of the United States (US), Barack Obama.
In his opinion, Obama said that the nation has stepped into an era of boldness starting from the Biden-led government.
He added that since America has rejoined the Paris Club, the nation is taking back its position at the forefront of the fight against climate change.
The former leader wrote on his Twitter page on Thursday, January 21:
"This is a time for boldness and President Biden is already delivering.
"By rejoining the Paris climate accords on day one, he declared loudly and clearly that the U.S. will once again lead the fight against climate change. And this is only the beginning."

Meanwhile, Biden faced articles of impeachment which were filed against him by a Republican congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The lawmaker who represents Northwest Georgia announced the news on Twitter on Thursday, January 21, a day after Biden's inauguration.
She said:
“I’ve just filed articles of impeachment on President Joe Biden, we will see how this goes."
Greene also released a statement where she accused Biden of corrupt actions involving exchanges with Ukraine.
She claimed the president had allowed his son Hunter to ‘siphon off cash from America’s greatest enemies, Russia and China’.
The lawmaker further claimed that Biden is unfit to hold the office of the presidency. She accused him of abuse of power during his time as vice president in the Obama White House and accusing him of "blatant nepotism" with regards to his son Hunter.
Greene said:
"President Biden has demonstrated he will do whatever it takes to bail out his son, Hunter, and line his family’s pockets with cash from corrupt foreign energy companies."
