Great feats and achievements are celebration-worthy and a Nigerian scholar has done just that following the achievement of her childhood academic aspiration.
Jennifer Chinenye Emelife had taken to Facebook in celebratory euphoria to share the heart-warming feat.
In a post on her wall seen by Legit.ng, the beautiful lady recounted how she was able to scale the hurdles and challenges that bedevilled her despite coming from a humble background.
Jennifer who had her undergraduate education in Sokoto state recalled how, when she was younger, she would always appear before a mirror and daydream of travelling the world, meeting great folks and doing excellent things.
She imagined herself responding boldly to fielded questions from correspondents on issues of discourse.
For someone who grew up in North-East Nigeria where what most of her peers dreamt of as teens was getting married coupled with her parents' financial woes, her dreams looked tall but are now a reality today.
She wrote:
"I grew up in an environment where, at that time, there really wasn't much to aspire to, with parents who sometimes had a little less than enough for our tuition while many of my peers only wanted to get married. Breaking out of these limitations seemed impossible but I'm glad I pushed through.
"Getting a Master's from a renowned institution under a prestigious international scholarship, and graduating with a Distinction in International Education and Development is my wildest dream come true."
The Anambra indigene dedicated her success to teeming young generation who are going through difficult times and feel alone. She said:
"I see you. Don't give up."
