Nigerian writer and critic, Reno Omokri, may have scored a big one for the mock men's group, Stingy Men Association of Nigeria (SMAN), with his recent remarks about high maintenance women.
In a series of tweets, Omokri slammed women behind the female mock group, Stingy Women Association and this is coming after Toke Makinwa's remark about 'closing her legs' in response to the men's group.

Addressing men, Omokri advised that they avoid women who are high maintenance but have no visible source of income. He added that men need assets, not liabilities, in order to attain success.

Recall Toke Makinwa, recently joined the ongoing bants on social media about stingy associations and showed her interest in joining the one for ladies.
In reaction to the trend of Stingy Men Association of Nigeria, ladies on social media also formed theirs known as the Stingy Women Association of Nigeria (SWAN), and their motto was ‘do not open’.
Toke expressed her interest in the association on her Twitter page. She asked about how to join the close legs association.

Meanwhile, a lot of ladies online have been claiming membership of the association but former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Dorathy Bachor, does not seem to be interested.
Just recently, a representative of the group on Twitter called on the reality star and informed her that a membership card has been designed for her to be part of the faux association.
Dorathy while responding to the post was quick to express her disinterest in being a part of the association.
