Arsenal star Ozil finally settles Ronaldo vs Messi debate, reveals who's better

Mesut Ozil has played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and has met Lionel Messi several at club and national team level.
Commenting on the GOAT debate, the German midfielder still believes his former teammate still has a slight edge over his fiercest rival.
Ozil was quoted on Twitter:
"Messi has proven himself to be one of the best ever in Spain, but Ronaldo was always the best in every country he’s played in!"

Messi has spent his entire career at Camp Nou and has won many trophies for his boyhood club including six Ballon d'Or awards.
His rivalry with Ronaldo became pronounced when the Portuguese left Man United to join Real Madrid in 2009.
And CR7's entire nine years in Spain brought the world to their feet as both players showed their talent and broke several goalscoring records.
Ozil played with Ronaldo for three seasons and won trophies together at the Santiago Bernabeu as well as creating many assists before he was eventually for Arsenal in 2013.
Apart from the El Clasico Ozil has played against Messi in the Champions League in some of Arsenal's clashes against Barcelona.
The pair even met twice at the 2010 and 2014 editions of the World Cup in South Africa and Brazil respectively where Germany defeated Brazil on both ocassions.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Arsenal have reportedly concluded plans to terminate Mesut Ozil's contract barely six months before the expiration of his deal.
And they are willing to pay him a staggering £7.2 million severance package just to get him off their wage bill.
The German midfielder is the highest-paid Gunners star with £350,000-a-week wages but has failed to taste any competitive action this campaign.
