Photos of the former deputy governor of Rivers state, Gabriel Toby, and his wife, Dame Christy have gone viral on the internet for a supposed show of humility.
According to an aide to the present government in Cross River, Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the two were about boarding a tricycle (keke) after attending the new year thanksgiving service in Rivers.
Describing the act as a 'humble one', Inyang said they were followed by two police officers in a Hilux vehicle who offered protection till they got to their destination.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a photograph showed former president Olusegun Obasanjo in Akure, Ondo state, with Pa Reuben Fasoranti, who marked his birthday.
To honour the 94-year-old Pa Fasoranti, an elder statesman, whose house Obasanjo visited, the former president sat on the floor.
In a picture shared online, the former president could be seen sitting on the floor, wearing a smile with his signature cap on.
