Legendary hip-hop producer Dr Dre is recovering in hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm on Monday in Los Angeles. The US rapper took to social media on Wednesday, January 6, and told his fans that he's doing great.

Dr Dre's name has been trending on Twitter since the news of his hospitalisation broke. His concerned fans are wishing the superstar a speedy recovery.

Dre took to Instagram to thank all his supporters from across the globe for showing him love while he is getting medical attention in the hospital. Dre shared a snap of himself in the studio and captioned it:

Complex Music reported that Dre suffered a brain aneurysm in Los Angeles on Monday, January 4.

Brain aneurysm is a weakness in a blood vessel in the brain that balloons and fills with blood. The aneurysm can leak or rupture, causing life-threatening bleeding.
