Chelsea outcast Olivier Giroud has reportedly emerged as a top transfer target for Juventus and AC Milan this month.

The 34-year-old has scored nine goals in 15 appearances for the Blues across competitions this campaign.

However, Frank Lampard is still not impressed with the 2018 World Cup winner as he prefers Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham to him.

Napoli duo of Arkadiusz Milik and Fernando Llorente are also on the radar of the Serie A defending champions this transfer window.

The French international striker is out of contract in the summer but has been given assurances he will play regularly if he stays at Stamford Bridge.

Giroud joined Chelsea from Arsenal in the January transfer window in 2018 but almost left the club 12 months ago.

He stayed last January and helped Chelsea qualify for this season's Champions League with seven goals in 12 matches after football returned from the suspension due to the pandemic.

Giroud scored 18 goals in 34 appearances for Chelsea in 2020, more than any other player but was an unused substitute in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Legit.ng earlier reported that France international Olivier Giroud is now topping the list of Chelsea's highest goalscorers for the 2020 after netting 17 goals so far with five days to end the year.
