Interfaith group commences 21-day prayers for Nigeria

- An interfaith group, NIFROP, has released some positive prophecies regarding what will happen to Nigeria in 2021

- The group's patron, Archbishop Dr Julius Idiwe, gave the prophecies at the commencement of the group's 21-day prayer for Nigeria

- Among others, the NIFROP's leader prophesied that all Boko Haram commanders shall be delivered to the Nigerian military

The National Interfaith and Religious Organisations for Peace (NIFROP) has commenced a 21-day prayer and fasting session against "enemies" of Nigeria who are instigating disunity in the country.

Daily Sun reports that the prayer and fasting session which kicked off at the Unity Fountain, Abuja, with many clerics in attendance was also aimed at ensuring the success of the Muhammadu Buhari led administration.

The Grand Patron of NIFROP, Archbishop Dr Julius Idiwe, said there is an urgent need to pray and fast so that Nigeria can overcome the demonic spirits fighting against the peace and progress of the country.

He said the year 2020 was filled with various challenges but with God's intervention, "Nigeria remains a strong and indivisible entity."

2021 prophecies

The cleric said the evil forces against President Buhari and Nigeria would be ferocious in their attacks in 2021. He, however, said God will protect the nation.

Idiwe also said 2021 is the year of redemption for Nigeria and Nigerians. He said:

"What God has in stock for Nigeria in the year 2021 shall leave the world stunned."

He added:

“The world shall indeed be baffled on how Nigeria can overcome the activities of bandits and their sponsors. Like a pack of cards, they shall crumble in shame and into the bottomless pit of eternal disgrace."

The cleric prophesied that Nigeria will defeat the Boko Haram insurgency in 2021, adding that all the commanders of the Boko Haram terrorist group shall be delivered to the Nigerian military in absolute surrender.

In his own message, Sheik Ahmed Hassan said the love of Nigerians for President Buhari also knows no bound because he is an upright man filled with the fear of Allah (SWT) in all his doings as the president of the country.

He also prophesied:

“I tell you all today that in the year 2021, Nigeria shall defeat terrorism. The terrorist and their sponsors shall be exposed and put to shame. Nigeria shall experience peace and sustainable growth and development."

In another report, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele has urged Nigerians to be prayerful ahead of the challenges in the new year, saying the first quarter of 2021 would be very tough for Nigeria.

The general-overseer of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church stated this while sharing some prophecies concerning the year 2021.
