A Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @Iam_ChisomLucky has taken to the social media platform to celebrate his grandpa who recently turned 113 years.

The young man shared adorable photos from the centenarian's birthday, and tweeps flooded his comment section to celebrate the old man and wish him well.

He simply captioned the pictures:

"My grandpa turned 113 years today."

Social media users were in the comment section with congratulatory messages.

In a previous report by Legit.ng, Simangele UmaMkhize Mthethwa took to social media to wish her grandfather a very happy 121st birthday.

She wrote:

"Happy 121st birthday Mkhulu, we love you, Nodlelo."

She went on to post proof of his birth date after a few Mzansi social media users expressed disbelief at his age.

Another Facebook user, Justin Eden, said that the man may well be the oldest man in the world.

He said:

"If he really is 121 years old, see the below and contact the authorities to make him famous - As of 10 May 2020, the oldest known living person is Kane Tanaka of Japan, aged 117 years, 129 days. The oldest known living man is Robert Weighton, of the United Kingdom, aged 112 years, 42 days."
