Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool will be ending the year 2020 as leaders of the English topflight thanks to their superb performances so far this term.
Interestingly, Liverpool also started the year 2020 as leaders which helped them to win the 2019/20 Premier League season after 26 years that the Reds' fans had waited for the title.
It was an incredible moment for Jurgen Klopp and his wards winning the Premier League title the second season that they won the Champions League crown.
So far this season in the Premier League, Liverpool have played 16 games and they are having 33 points losing only one game.
Manchester United are occupying second position on the League table and the Red Devils are three points behind Liverpool.
Ole Solskjaer who is the manager of Manchester United has been able to change the fortune of the club as they are now title contenders.
Leicester City are occupying third position on the Premier League table while Everton occupy fourth on the standings with 29 points.
Arsenal have not been finding it rosy this season in the Premier League as Mikel Arteta and his wards are occupying 13th position on the table.
This has put the Spanish manager under serious pressure at the Emirates stadium.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed that defender Joel Matip will be out of action for at least three weeks following a groin injury.
The Cameroonian had a knock during their 1-1 draw with West Brom on Sunday night, December 27, in a match Semi Ajayi cancelled out Sadio Mane’s first-half opener.
Matip went down on the hour-mark in the cause of the game and was immediately substituted, with Jurgen Klopp replacing the player with Rhys Williams.
This is a big blow to the reigning Premier League champions who are already without defenders Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez who are battling with long-term injuries.
Liverpool then went three points clear at the top of the Premier League after a frustrating 0-0 stalemate against a determined Newcastle United side on Wednesday, December 30.
