- The couple identified as Dr Mike and Dr Modupe Obiora dedicated their set of twins on Sunday, December 13, at the World Alive Church in Calabar, Cross River state capital
- Dr Modupe expressed gratitude to God for finally answering their prayers when people thought it was impossible for them to have children

A Nigerian couple has finally welcomed a set of twins after 27 years of being without a child.
Dr Mike and Dr Modupe Obiora got married on December 11, 1993, and had been praying to conceive ever since.
According to Doctor Modupe, she and her husband held on to God when people thought there was no possibility of conceiving.
She expressed gratitude to God for showing up for her and her husband and proving that there is nothing impossible for Him, Yabaleft reports.
Dr Modupe also thanked everyone that remembered her in prayer, adding that the result of their prayers is the set of twins God has blessed her with.
According to the new mum, her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law were always praying for her during the trying times. She said her in-laws strengthened her faith.

In similar news, a Nigerian woman who has been married for 16 years without the fruit of the womb has finally been blessed with twins.
The disclosure was made on Instagram by @ms_asoebi who shared adorable photos of the mother and her double gift.
The woman's story is one out of many inspiring stories of couples who had tried to conceive for years and finally blessed with twins, triplets and quadruplets.
Sharing the news on Instagram, @ms_asoebi wrote:
